Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park.

You will be picked up from Dar es Salaam in your hotel on early morning and drive to Mikumi National Park via Chalinze and Morogoro towns. Arrive in Mikumi on late afernoon, you will proceed with an afternoon game drive until the evening. This park is home to lions, elephants, giraffes, and buffalos. On evening drive at the camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Drive to Uduzungwa Mountain.

After early breakfast in the morning, you will depart with en route game drive from Mikumi to Udzungwa Mountains National Park beside a picnic lunch on your vehicle. Then, proceed with a trekking that leads to the spectacular trails up to Sanje Falls, one of the unique features of Udzungwa. Here you will get a good view of Kilombero valley which is ideal for agriculture. Enjoy the whole afternoon and evening tour to this unique park.

Arrive at the camp or lodge on evening for dinner and overnight.

Days 3: Drive from Uduzungwa to Ruaha National Park.

Depart after breakfast morning activities in Uduzungwa Mountain afterward exit the park and drive straight to Ruaha National Park about 1-2 hrs drive beside a packed lunch. Enter the park and proceed with the game drive en route till sunset. Late evening arrive at the lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full day in Ruaha National Park.

Depart after breakfast with packed lunch and enjoy a full day of game drive in Ruaha National Park. This less-visited park lies deep in the south with its striking, rugged landscapes and abundant wildlife. The Great Ruaha River flows through the eastern side of the park and provides life to hippos, crocodiles, and over 400 species of birds such as the racket-tailed roller, pale-billed hornbill, Shelley’s sunbird, and hoopoe.

On evening followed with sunset drive back to the camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Return to Mikumi National Park.

After a relaxing breakfast, drive for about six hours with your packed lunch back to Mikumi National Park. If time allows, you can enjoy a late-evening game drive then have dinner and an overnight at the camp or lodge.

Day 6: Transfer from Mikumi to Dar es Salaam.

After breakfast, proceed with a morning game drive or return to Dar es Salaam depending on planned arrival time in Dar es Salaam. You will arrive in the late afternoon or early evening including the transfer back to the hotel in Dar es Salaam or catch the last ferry for Zanzibar that leaves daily at 4 p.m.
