Akagera National Park lies in eastern Rwanda, hugging the border with Tanzania. It's characterized by woodland, swamps, low mountains and savannah. The varied terrain shelters wildlife including Antelopes, zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions and hundreds of bird species, such as the rare shoebill stork. In the southern part of the park, vast Lake Ihema is home to hippos and Nile crocodiles.

You will be picked at place of residence or hotel at 5am by our professional driver guide to your next journey to Akagera National park. The journey will take 2hrs and 30 minutes to reach the park entrance. Our safari starts from southern part to the Northern Part of the park in search for wild animals within the park. After a wonderful full day enjoying the spectacular sight and sound of nature, we will arrive back to Kigali to place of residence around 6 pm.
